This is a frequently asked question I hear in my work as a therapist, coach and spiritual teacher. Everyone seems to be looking for a soul mate in this lifetime. I don’t think that’s unusual, do you?
The definition of soul mate is “believed by some to be the person with whom one has a feeling of deep or natural affinity, similarity, love, sex, intimacy, sexuality, spirituality or compatibility.” With that definition, why wouldn’t everyone want to meet that person designed for ultimate compatibility?
However, you do come back to this lifetime to learn don’t you? Do you suppose if you met your soul mate immediately and early on in your life, you would have learned everything you need to know about love, relationships AND even have the appreciation to know that person was your soul mate?!!
What if wherever you are in your life right now romantically is exactly where you’re supposed to be? What a concept, isn’t it?
